Professional Summary

To date, Melvin has 10 years of experience in planning and organizing camps which includes projects such as the Young Team Singapore Ambassador Induction Camp with over 400 participants hailing from all over Singapore.

His leadership abilities enabled him to serve beyond school. He was appointed as North West CDC Junior Councillor and Youth Leader Committee. He was awarded with an Outstanding All-Rounder Student Award by the CDC for achieving commendable results in academic and excellent conduct in his CCA. He went on to serve as a Young Team Singapore Ambassador, promoting sporting culture to schools, young aspiring sportsmen and women. His contribution and passion was recognized by Singapore Sports Council in 2006 and was awarded with the Sporting Singapore Inspirational Award.

Melvin was part of the Sports Presenter Team for the 2010 Youth Olympic Games, 28th SEA Games and many other sports event organized by Sports Singapore.  His academic journey from Normal Technical, ITE and Polytechnic made him a strong believer of life-long learning. He holds a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Sciences and is currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Sports and Physical Education with Psychology.

Professional Summary

Hya Kia Inn, an outdoor and fitness enthusiast, have always been hyperactive since she was a child. Graduated with a Diploma in Biotechnology, mainly focusing on research and lab work, sports and the outdoors is a constant life. At the age of 15, she started her journey as a camp facilitator for her school and professionally joined the outdoor industry when she turned 18. Realising that a typical office job is not suited for her, she followed her passion and worked her way up in the outdoor industry.

Over the past 8 years, Kia Inn has trained more than thousands of individuals, from over a hundred pre-schools, primary and secondary schools, tertiary educational institutes, universities, as well as corporate companies. As a passionate and dynamic trainer, Kia Inn abides by the 3 I(s) – Inspire, Impact and Influence. She always seek to make positive differences in lives of her students ad participants. She believes that everyone is a champion waiting to be discovered and a gem to be polished. Kia inn believes in giving her best in whatever she does. Most notably, she is an extremely positive person with an unbreakable sense of motivation and determination as well as a source of inspiration , positivity and advice. Kia Inn is seen by her fellow trainers as a diligent individual and a strong team player.

Kia Inn previously freelance as a Physical Training Instructor(PTI) in Tekong and Civil Defence Academy. She trained recruits during their national service and conducted remedial training for national servicemen. with the attitude and mentality of “learning has no limits”, she was constantly looking to improve herself. At first, Kia Inn joined a fitness studio with the desire to lose weight and tone her body. However, her weekly classes turned into affection and she decided to join her fitness coach in this journey as a fitness instructor.

Kia Inn was involved and participated in doing a showcase of Zumba and Trampoline Fitness by using one playlist, achieving a new level of synchronicity  at the 3M step up challenge 2018. She is currently teaching Zumba and Trampoline Fitness. To date, Kia Inn have 3 years of experience as a fitness trainer. She is young, eager and dedicated to help many others attain their fitness goals.

Professional Summary

Graduated with Master of Architecture, Putra started out his journey in the private sector as a Junior Architect specializing in conceptual designs. He pays attention to details and practices a systematic approach when handling projects. He is also very passionate about teaching, sports and the outdoors. With 2 years of experience managing architectural projects, he joined TBTL in 2016 as a trainer.

Being in the architectural industry, he developed his interpersonal and leadership skills as and when dealing with people from all walks of life. He thrives under pressure meeting multiple project deadlines. He is a great team player with excellent design and communications skill. He strongly believe that a good leader know when to lead and at times take a step back to assess the situation prioritizing the team’s success before individual recognition.

His knowledge in design and passion for sports and the outdoors made him a valuable asset for TBTL. He played an important role in setting up the corporate wing and spearheading team building programmes. He freelance as a coach for Soccajoeys teaching preschool students fundamental movements through soccer, a mentor for Youth in Action (YIA) programmes under Canact for underprivileged students and Programme for Active Learning Sports and games for TBTL Pte Ltd.
